Overcoming Difficulties at the Bagalamukhi Matri Mission
— Written by the Members of the Matri Mission
The head of our Matri Mission often explains that the path of Tantra is not easy—it is challenging and requires deep discipline. A true spiritual practitioner grows stronger by remaining humble and discreet. This teaching was also emphasized by Ma Sarada Devi. A sadhaka learns through years of guidance under a Guru and then uses that knowledge for the service of humanity. The true purpose of this learning is to protect people from difficulties and help them find relief, not to harm or control others.
Spiritual practice has many aspects, and only when followed correctly does it bring positive results. Unfortunately, in present times, some people focus only on ritual actions or techniques instead of true inner practice. But a genuine Mother-devotee’s responsibility is to remove suffering, not create fear or trouble.
The founder of the Bagalamukhi Matri Mission, Somananda Nath, once helped a well-known family in Kolkata who were going through serious trouble. Through proper spiritual guidance and effort, the family was freed from danger. Even those who had caused harm later realized their mistakes and asked for forgiveness.
Today, family disputes have become very common and often turn into long legal battles. One devotee of our Gurudev faced such a situation and felt completely helpless. Through one of Gurudev’s disciples, the matter was brought to Gurudev. After understanding the problem, he guided the devotee with appropriate spiritual support. By the Mother’s grace, the issue was resolved, and peace returned to the family.
Many people have come to the Bagalamukhi Matri Mission seeking help and have found relief from serious problems. These experiences continue even today. We sincerely encourage everyone to follow the right and ethical spiritual path, because when practiced with sincerity, it always leads to personal well-being and peace.
